  • Overview

    The purpose of this role is to ensure that all campaigns are consistently delivering the best results possible, by testing new solutions and evaluating results. There is a requirement to develop junior staff and provide input to campaign strategy


    • Responsibilities:
      • Plan, manage, and execute Paid Search (PPC/SEM) campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, strategy development, organization, and management
      • Responsible for ongoing optimization efforts to meet campaign objectives, including daily management of campaign budgets, on-site conversion actions, bid management, negative keyword strategies, website and category exclusions , ad creative, and landing page revisions based on performance history and the client's objectives
      • Daily use of reporting, analytics, and trend tools, including but not limited to Google Analytics, comScore, and Compete
      • Audit both  assigned client accounts and as well as assist other  accounts when needed
      • Execution & analysis of paid search beta tests & new platforms/vendors
      • Assist Client Services team with client communications around paid search knowledge, and recommendations to develop and deliver a clear strategic vision to the client
      • Forecast & plan paid search growth, and regularly communicating opportunity with the client


      • Proven advanced capability of paid search
      • Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibilities and excellent project management skills
      • Ability to be an advanced technical/discipline leader, and manage client communication without  requiring Account Supervisor involvement
      • Must be able to draw critical analysis from data and make specific recommendations – i.e. adapted to change strategies and recommendations based on data sets
      • Strong client and team leadership qualities, comfortable contributing to company’s thought leadership on PPC industry topics


    • 2-3 years of experience in managing large scale, complex paid search campaigns
    • Well versed in client KPIs, specifically in Branding/Awareness and DR
    • A strong understanding of Display Media, SEO, Affiliates, Feeds, Mobile, Social and Attribution and influence on Paid Search Activities
    • Strong client facing and presentation skills, with the ability to make credible strategic recommendations, provide updates against KPIs on a regular basis and participate in QBRs
    • In-depth understanding of Paid Search campaign management and optimization practices, and search retargeting
    • Experience with Paid Search Platforms like Marin, Kenshoo, DS3
    • Google Certification (Fundamentals), Analytics and Adwords Certification required
    • Strong organizational skills, detailed orientation and project management ability
    • Analytical mindset, with the ability to identify trends and insights through data analysis
    • Experience mentoring & fostering the development of emerging talent is required
    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
    • Ability to manage multiple projects, drive to completion, and deliver effective results
